Olivewood freehand smoking pipe carved from an approx. 700+ year old montenegrin olive tree, dried at least 10+ more years at my workshop, mouthpiece hand cut German faux ivory  with polished draw.

The pipe comes with a  pipestand from the same piece of olivewood, exactly fitted to the shape of the pipe.

Freihand Tabakpfeife von einem circa 700+ Jahre alten montenegrinischen Olivenbaum, 10+ Jahre langsam bei mir getrocknet bis zur vollkommenen Stabilisierung und entsprechenden Härtegrad. Mundstück Acryl Elfenbein mit Rotholz Intarsie.

Der Pfeifenständer ist aus dem gleichen Stück Olivenholz gefertigt.

Olivewood freehand smoking pipe carved from an approx. 800+ years old olive tree, dried for at least 10 – 12 more years at my workshop, mouthpiece hand cut from German acrylic Amber and Scarlet red..

This ancient piece of olivewood revealed a long and even flow of  beautifully interconnected patterns, a canoe ready to explore new shores by deep and wavelike reflections. The shape peaks by a subtle arch-line at the bowl.

The pipestand  from Olivewood is perfectly fitted to the pipe and a second stem.

Canadian – Oliva Montenegrina

Olivewood freehand smoking pipe carved from an approx. 800 years old olive tree, dried for at least 10 – 12  years at my workshop, mouthpiece hand cut German cumberland golden acrylic.

This beautiful piece of olivewood shows a deep contrasting  grain, that slowly swoops like the sea towards our coast within wavelike reflections.

The pipestand from Olivewood with centerpoint balance  is perfectly matched to the proportions and weight of the pipe.

Fisherman’s Billard

Olivewood freehand smoking pipe carved from an approx. 800+ years old olive tree, dried for at least 10 – 12 more years at my workshop, mouthpiece hand cut German cumberland green acrylic.

This beautiful piece of olivewood showed at first glance an archaic placement of grain that later on reviled itself as a true gem with deep wavelike reflections. The pipe has a subtly flowing arch-line in regard to local Fisherman boats , hence the name ‘Fishermans Billard’.

The pipestand is from Olivewood with centerpoint balance perfectly matched to the particular proportions and weight of this pipe.

Eskimo – Tigerfish

Olivewood freehand smoking pipe carved from an approx.  800 year old olive tree, dried for at least 10  more years at my workshop, mouthpiece hand cut German tiger yellow acrylic with olivewood adornment.

The name suggests its origin and  inspiration behind this shape. I was inclined to incorporate  slender streamlines resembling an Inuit kayak with centerpoint balance, complemented by flowing lines of olivewood.

Der Pfeifenständer und Tamper sind aus einer Jahrhundert alten Olive und vervollkommnen  das Gesamtbild dieser Komposition, stark angelehnt an die altägyptische Formsprache und Design.
